A. O. Smith's commercial product pages describe the company as 'a leading manufacturer of both residential and commercial water heating technologies'. The only boiler-family product on hotwater.com is the Conservationist Burkay Commercial Gas Hot Water Boiler — a copper heat-exchanger power-burner boiler for 'indoor high input commercial applications' with inputs up to 670,000 Btu, model family HW-300 through HW-670 per the wiring-diagram document rows.
The Burkay boiler's heat exchanger exposes water only to copper, brass and bronze ('rust-proof' per the page), with the Burkay burner and a patented design to maximize combustion efficiency. Burkay Genesis — the circulating sub-brand on the commercial water-heater category — is a water heater, not a boiler, and is not hubbed as one; the residential combi-boiler category on A. O. Smith's residential site is out of this commercial hub's scope.
No official Canadian statement was found on the captured hotwater.com pages, so canadianStatus is recorded as unknown. The Burkay page publishes the user manual, spec sheet and wiring diagrams as public PDFs.
