About NTI Boilers

NTI was founded in 1967 and has built its 'North American-made' reputation from a head office and manufacturing facility located on the Drury Cove in Saint John, New Brunswick. Its installation and operation manuals print a Saint John address (30 Stonegate Dr, Saint John, NB) and a North American technical-assistance line, and the same site serves the Canadian and United States markets with Canadian provisions written into the manuals.

The current product line documented on Boilers.ca covers NTI's residential wall-hung and floor-standing condensing boilers: the flagship TFTN (wall-hung 085–399 and floor-mounted 500–850 sizes), the FTVN (Series I and Series II, heating-only and combi), the TRX (Series I and Series II, heating-only and combi), the floor-standing NTI Compass, and the Trinity Lx fire-tube line for light-to-heavy commercial work, which NTI also lists in its smaller sizes for residential use. The Trinity Ti, Tx, TFT, FTV and Vmax series are discontinued, as listed on ntiboilers.com/discontinued.

NTI controls display numeric error codes grouped by circuit: the first digit names the system area, from 1 (primary / central heat) through 2 (domestic hot water), 3 (internal electronics), 4 (external electronics), 5 (ignition and detection), 6 (air and flue) and 7 (multi-zone). Boilers.ca documents the code tables per manual generation so a homeowner can report the exact code shown on the display.

Each series hub lists its models, verified specifications, manuals and documented alerts.

  • The Trinity FTVN is NTI's wall-hung residential condensing boiler family, sold in heating-only and combi versions from 85 to 199 MBH. Series I and Series II share the same hardware family; Series II adds a new user interface and its own model codes, and both generations' display codes are documented on Boilers.ca.
