About IBC Technologies

IBC was established in Vancouver with a stated focus on hydronic heating. The company partnered with the European manufacturer Intergas in 2014 and became part of the Rheem family in 2019, according to its own company history. Its Canadian head office remains in Burnaby, which makes IBC one of the few boiler brands engineered in the same region ROMA Heating & Cooling serves.

The current residential condensing range published on the Canadian site includes the SFT-1 and SFC-1 Superflow series, the VX series and the SL Series G3. Boilers.ca documents each series with its own hub: models, verified specifications, the manuals that apply, documented alerts and the ROMA services that fit the equipment.

Where IBC's own documents disagree with each other (for example, a brochure headline figure versus a model page), Boilers.ca cites the model-level figure and notes the discrepancy rather than choosing the more flattering number.
