Lennox boilers in Canada

Lennox publishes its residential catalogue from lennox.com, and the boilers page accessed on 2026-09-09 lists five gas-fired models with efficiency ratings printed on the page: the GCWB95 condensing combination water boiler (95.0% AFUE, ENERGY STAR qualified), the GWB9-IH condensing water boiler (90.0% AFUE, ENERGY STAR qualified), the GWB84-IE water boiler (up to 84.4% AFUE, chimney or side-wall venting), the GWB84-E water boiler (up to 84.0% AFUE, chimney venting) and the GSB8-E steam boiler (up to 82.7% AFUE). A sixth model, the OWB86, is oil-fired and sits outside this gas catalogue. The page's filters group the gas models under gas-fired water and steam boilers, with the GWB84-IE/E and GSB8-E listed as standard efficiency and the GCWB95 and GWB9-IH as high efficiency.

Each model has an official specifications page that prints its efficiency, fuel, sizes, burner type, ignition and warranty. The GCWB95 and GWB9-IH are condensing units with pre-mix stainless steel or stainless steel burners and direct spark or hot surface ignition; the GWB84-IE and GWB84-E are standard-efficiency cast-iron water boilers with titanium or stainless steel burners and electronic ignition; and the GSB8-E is the steam model. Lennox's 2020 Boilers Brochure documents the preceding generation - GWM-IE, GWB8-IE, GWB8-E-3, GWB9-IH, GSB8-E and the oil COWB3 - which is how Boilers.ca records the legacy GWM/GWB hub alongside the current five series.

Lennox is also the parent company of Allied Air Enterprises, whose brands (AirEase, Armstrong Air, Concord and Ducane) state on their official sites that they are operated by Allied Air Enterprises LLC, a Lennox International Inc. company. No official Canadian boiler sales statement was found for Lennox itself - the current catalogue is the US site - so Boilers.ca records canadianStatus 'unknown'. No per-model rating rows are printed on the official pages (they print size counts and ranges instead), so the five current series are published without model-level records.
