About the BlueFlame Series
Camus describes the BlueFlame as an atmospheric boiler for hydronic heating or hot water supply for commercial and industrial applications, delivering thermal efficiencies up to 83%. The stainless steel atmospheric burners fire vertically beneath the two-pass copper heat exchanger in a slide-out tray array; the exchanger is rated 160 PSIG with 250°F heating / 210°F domestic-hot-water maximums, with cast bronze headers and copper or cu-ni tubes.
Model families run BF480–BF1950 (480, 660, 840, 1020, 1200, 1380, 1560, 1740 and 1950 sizes in the Revit list). Right- or left-side water connections and removable headers simplify cleaning. A power venter with a low-profile hood allows venting in low-ceiling applications.
The BlueFlame is non-condensing: with efficiency capped at 83%, it is the atmospheric, budget-simpler end of Camus' copper-tube range, and no condensate management is required. Boilers.ca keeps this series at hub level.
