Fondital service
Fondital: boiler diagnostics for faults that won't be guessed away
Instrumented boiler diagnostics in Greater Vancouver: combustion analysis, gas-pressure checks, electrical and control testing that pin down the actual cause of a fault, including intermittent faults and problems earlier visits did not resolve.

Boiler Diagnostics for Fondital boilers
Some boiler faults announce themselves with an error code; many do not. Codes narrow the search, but the cause can be a sensor drifting out of specification, a gas-pressure problem under load, a condensate line that only fails in cold weather, or an intermittent electrical fault. Diagnostics replaces guesswork with instruments: the boiler is tested under operating conditions and its actual behaviour is recorded.
Diagnostics also serves systems that have already been visited without resolution, recurring faults after parts were changed, and second-opinion situations where you want findings documented before more money is spent. The visit ends with a written statement of the fault, the evidence and the repair options, and no repair proceeds without your approval.

Describe the fault
Code, behaviour, frequency and weather conditions are noted before the visit.
- 02
Instrumented testing
The technician measures combustion, pressures and electrical behaviour rather than guessing.
- 03
Diagnosis in writing

Frequently asked questions
My boiler's error code points to a sensor. Why not just replace it?
Codes identify suspects, not verdicts. A sensor fault is often the symptom of a real cause such as a gas-pressure or flow problem, which is why the diagnostic visit tests the system rather than ordering parts from the code alone.
Do you investigate intermittent faults that only happen sometimes?
Yes. Control history, logged data and repeated firing-cycle testing are used where the boiler records them, and the limits of what can be confirmed are stated honestly.
Is this the same as a repair call?
No. Repair fixes a confirmed fault; diagnostics establishes what the fault actually is. When testing already makes the cause obvious, the technician can move straight to a quoted repair, with the diagnosis as the evidence behind it.
