HTP Elite XL ELX-2000FBN

The ELX-2000FBN is the 2000 size of HTP's Elite XL commercial condensing boiler — a floor-standing, fully condensing unit on the 928 control with color touchscreen and HTP Link Wi-Fi. The official page table and LP-691 submittal print 200 to 2,000 Btu/hr input, 1940 MBH heating capacity, 16.25 gal of boiler water content and a 1750 lb shipping weight, with a minimum flow rate of 20 GPM at a 20 °F ΔT at low fire.

The boiler uses a 316L stainless steel water-tube heat exchanger stamped for 160 PSI ASME with a gasketless header design, a high-grade stainless-steel premix burner and an air-ratio (pneumatic) gas valve with a 10:1 turndown. It vents Category IV as a sealed-combustion direct-vent or power-vent appliance in PVC, CPVC, polypropylene or stainless steel — the 2000 model uses the 8" adapter — 8" (150 ft) max combined, 15 ft minimum — and connects 2-1/2" flange supply/return with a 2" NPT gas inlet. LP-691 prints the 1500 and 2000 models as natural gas operation only; the gas supply pressure range is natural gas only: 3.5"–10.5" w.c..

The 928 control provides outdoor reset with indirect priority (an outdoor sensor is supplied), 0-10 VDC BMS input, multiple 120-volt pump outputs and cascade wiring for up to eight boilers. HTP backs the heat exchanger with a five-year basic / ten-year extended limited warranty (the page states a 10-year limited warranty with no registration required).
