About the VIX Series (Vertical)

Hurst's VIX Series page states: 'Available from 10 to 80 HP, 30-125 BHP, 15-350 steam, 30-160 hot water', 'Totally new design industrial grade construction, 2 pass fire tube design with enhanced heat transfer features. The VIX Series can offer higher efficiencies than standard vertical boilers.' The page also describes a smaller footprint — 'more than 50% of standard vertical boilers' — an eye-high control panel, a removable turn-a-round box, and an innovative vessel design with constant calm water levels and water-to-steam stabilization.

The official VIX brochure documents capacities from 30 to 150 BHP with a printed firing-rate table, and Hurst publishes separate hot water and steam specification sheets (2012).

No official Canadian-sales statement was found.
