About the Gallant Cascade

The Gallant Cascade packages Gallant Wall boilers on factory-configured racking rather than leaving cascade assembly to the field. The official page lists seven kit configurations — CPS500, CPS600, CPS800, CPS1000, CPS1200, CPS1600 and CPS2000 — built from 2 to 5 Gallant boilers. Total input ranges from 43.6–480 MBH on the CPS500 (two 250s) to 72.5–1,995 MBH on the CPS2000 (five 399s), with total outputs of 444 to 1,897 MBH and total water content of 23 to 59 gallons.

The racks are 72 inches high and 36 inches deep, with lengths of 86 to 181 inches depending on the configuration; the page lists one or two manifolds per kit. Cascade turndown is stated as up to 18:1, common venting is available for 2 or 3 boilers, and the multi-function rack joins the boilers to the provided manifolds. A hydraulic junction minimizes head loss, provides air separation and includes a built-in drain for system debris.

Engineering submittals are published for each kit (CPS500 through CPS2000), along with the cascade product brochure. Because the kit is built around the Gallant Wall boilers documented separately on Boilers.ca, the same Canadian-availability caveat applies: no explicit Canadian sales statement was found on the official pages checked on 2026-09-09, so canadianStatus is recorded as unknown.

Frequently asked questions

Which Gallant Cascade kit should I choose?

The kit determines the total plant input: the CPS500 pairs two 250 MBH boilers (total input range 43.6–480 MBH) while the CPS2000 joins five 399 MBH boilers (72.5–1,995 MBH). The system engineering submittals published for each kit give the full configuration data.

Does the Gallant Cascade share one vent?

Common venting is available for 2 or 3 boilers per the official page. The Gallant Wall vent supplement and the Exalt–Gallant vent termination bulletin document the venting requirements.

Are the boilers included with the rack?

The official model table lists the racks both 'less boilers' and 'with boilers', with the total input, output and water content figures for the loaded configuration.
