Lennox Lennox GSB8-E (standard-efficiency gas-fired steam boiler)

The GSB8-E is the only steam boiler in Lennox's current gas line, listed on the official boilers page as a standard-efficiency gas-fired steam boiler rated up to 82.7% AFUE. The specifications page prints its fuel as natural gas, convertible to LP; a titanium burner; electronic ignition; seven sizes; and a 12-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger with a 5-year limited warranty on covered components, eligible for 10-year coverage with product registration.

Lennox's 2020 Boilers Brochure lists the GSB8-E at the same 82.7% AFUE with a titanium burner and cast iron heat exchanger, and it remains in the current catalogue alongside the GCWB95, GWB9-IH, GWB84-IE and GWB84-E water boilers. Steam systems are less common than hydronic water systems, so this is the model that serves homes still heated by steam radiators.

The model is part of Lennox's US catalogue; no Canadian boiler sales statement was found, so the series is recorded canadianStatus 'unknown'. No per-model rating rows are printed on the official pages - the specifications page lists a size count rather than individual rows - so Boilers.ca publishes the series without model-level records, and any gas, combustion or venting work belongs with a licensed contractor.
