Lennox Lennox GWB84-E (standard-efficiency gas-fired water boiler)

The GWB84-E is the second of Lennox's two standard-efficiency water boilers, rated up to 84.0% AFUE on the official boilers page with chimney venting. The specifications page prints its fuel as natural gas, convertible to LP; a stainless steel burner; electronic ignition; nine sizes; and a 20-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger with a 5-year limited warranty on covered components, eligible for 10-year coverage with product registration.

Lennox publishes a homeowner's manual for the GWB84-E in its document library, so owners of an installed unit can work from the manufacturer's own document for that generation. The model corresponds to the GWB8-E-3 generation shown in the 2020 Boilers Brochure, which lists it at up to 83.9% AFUE with a cast iron heat exchanger and stainless steel burners.
