The Armor OAN is Lochinvar's outdoor condensing commercial water heater: eight sizes from OAN151PM to OAN801PM (150,000 to 800,000 BTU/hr input) at an AHRI-certified 96% thermal efficiency, built for outdoor installation only.

The Armor OAN takes the light-commercial Armor platform outdoors: the OAW-Sub-02 submittal prints eight models — OAN151PM, OAN200PM, OAN286PM, OAN400PM, OAN501PM, OAN601PM, OAN701PM and OAN801PM — covering 150,000 to 800,000 BTU/hr input with recovery rates of 175 to 931 GPH at a 100°F rise, all at an AHRI-certified 96% thermal efficiency. The notes print "Outdoor installation only," and the model codes follow the same N-to-L fuel convention as the rest of the Armor family, with no LP deration.
The submittal prints 1/2"-1" gas connections, 1-1/4"-2" water connections, 3" vent sizes on the 151-286 models and 4"-6" on the 400-801 models, and ship weights from 165 lb (OAN151PM) to 527 lb (OAN801PM). Like the indoor Armor lines, the OAN uses a modulating burner with 5:1 turndown, a sealed combustion system and the SMART SYSTEM control with cascade capability; the I&O manual (Rev Y) covers the full outdoor range and documents the outdoor vent terminal and combustion air arrangements.
