Noritz · Series
The NRC Series is Noritz's high-efficiency residential tankless water heater line — NRC98DV, NRC111DV, NRC661A-DV and NRC711-DV, rated 0.89–0.91 UEF with maximum flows of 6.6–11.1 GPM. DHW-only appliances, not boilers.
Series facts
Noritz's NRC Series covers four high-efficiency residential tankless water heaters: the NRC98DV and NRC111DV (0.90 and 0.91 UEF, up to 180,000 and 199,900 BTU/h) and the NRC661A-DV and NRC711-DV (0.89 UEF, up to 120,000 and 157,000 BTU/h). All four are DHW-only appliances with no hydronic heating circuit, with temperature settings printed at 115–140°F (NRC661A/NRC711) or 100–140°F (NRC98/NRC111).
The larger pair installs indoors only in a 24.2" H × 18.3" W × 9.4" D cabinet weighing 58 and 68 lb, while the NRC661A and NRC711 are compact indoor units at 23.6" H × 13.8" W × 6.7" D weighing 39 and 41 lb. Maximum flow runs 6.6 GPM (NRC661A), 7.1 (NRC711), 9.8 (NRC98DV) and 11.1 (NRC111DV), all at a 0.5 GPM minimum. The NRC98DV page uses condensing language and prints a condensate overflow monitoring system; the NRC661A and NRC711 pages describe high-efficiency operation without printing the word condensing, so the series is recorded without a blanket condensing claim.
The NRC pages are Noritz's US/global product pages. No Canadian availability statement was found for the line, so Canadian availability is recorded as unknown; Noritz's July 2025 Vancouver warehouse announcement names the NRCB combi specifically.

Services for Noritz boilers
No. The NRC Series is a line of residential tankless water heaters for domestic hot water only; they have no space-heating circuit. Noritz's combi boiler is the NRCB.
Capacity and size: the NRC98DV fires to 180,000 BTU/h with 9.8 GPM in a 58 lb cabinet, while the NRC661A fires to 120,000 BTU/h with 6.6 GPM in a compact 39 lb cabinet. The NRC98DV prints 0.90 UEF and the NRC661A 0.89.
The NRC98DV page uses condensing language and lists a condensate overflow monitoring system; the NRC661A and NRC711 pages describe high-efficiency operation without printing the word condensing. Boilers.ca records what each page prints rather than generalizing.
Describe what the boiler is doing and get a straight answer about the next step.
