Gas Boiler Maintenance for Pennco boilers
Condensing boilers are efficient because they extract heat from flue gases, which means they also collect acidic condensate and combustion deposits. Left unchecked, these foul the heat exchanger, block the condensate trap and trigger lockouts in the coldest week of the year. Annual maintenance clears and checks these points before they fail.
Manufacturers typically make annual servicing a warranty condition; IBC, for example, requires installation by a certified contractor and publishes maintenance steps in its manuals. Keeping a service record protects both the warranty and the next owner's confidence in the system.
