About the TCT-199 Commercial Series

The TCT-199 is Takagi's commercial gas tankless water heater line: a condensing, on-demand water heater rated 199,000 BTU/h maximum input, 15,000 BTU/h (natural gas) or 13,000 BTU/h (propane) minimum input, and 0.93 UEF indoors / 0.95 outdoors. It is a water heater, not a boiler, and it is documented here because commercial hydronic plants often pair tankless water heaters with heating boilers for domestic hot water.

The line has four models: TCT-199I-N and TCT-199I-P (indoor) and TCT-199O-N and TCT-199O-P (outdoor). All four deliver up to 10 GPM maximum flow, connect on 3/4" NPT hot/cold water lines and 3/4" NPT gas, and share the same cabinet footprint of 23-5/8" H × 17-3/4" W × 11-1/4" D, with approximate shipping weights of 71 lb (indoor) and 69 lb (outdoor) per the official spec sheet.

The spec sheet prints an ANSI Z21.10.3 / CSA 4.3 listing, Ultra-Low NOx compliance, a primary commercial-grade copper heat exchanger with a Type 316L stainless-steel secondary exchanger, and a 6-year limited commercial heat-exchanger warranty with 5-year parts coverage. Indoor models ship with an integrated temperature controller and advanced diagnostics; outdoor models ship with a wall-mount remote controller.

The official spec sheet header uses the commercial name 'CT-199' while the model table prints the TCT-199I/O model numbers. No Canadian statement appears on the captured pages, so Canadian availability is recorded as unknown.
