Frequently asked questions

Why is oversizing such a problem for condensing boilers?

An oversized boiler meets the load quickly, shuts off and repeats, which wears parts and keeps the unit outside the condensing range where it operates as designed. Matching size to load matters more for condensing equipment than for old cast-iron boilers.

Can't I just buy the biggest boiler so I'm safe?
