The PEG-F is Utica's current gas-fired cast-iron steam boiler line, tagged 'Current' on the official Gas Boilers category page (checked 2026-09-09). Utica describes seven sizes from 75 MBH to 299 MBH with up to 82.7% AFUE, a one-piece easy-to-remove front panel concealing the electronic ignition control, a cast-iron heat exchanger with cast-iron push nipples, titanium burners, and a front-mounted integral draft hood and vent damper in a low-profile, low-clearance design.
The official sell sheet (PN 700000004 Rev. 09/04/26) prints the seven sizes with NG/LP pairs: PEG075FID (75/70 MBH input, 62/58 MBH heating capacity, 47/44 MBH net steam, 195/183 sq ft, 82.7% AFUE, 3 sections, 5" vent), PEG112FID (112/105, 91/85, 68/64, 283/267, 82.0, 4, 6"), PEG150FID (150/140, 122/114, 92/86, 383/358, 82.0, 5, 6"), PEG187FID (187/175, 153/143, 115/107, 479/446, 82.0, 6, 7"), PEG225FID (225/210, 183/171, 137/128, 570/533, 82.0, 7, 7"), PEG262FID (262/245, 214/200, 161/150, 670/625, 82.0, 8, 7") and PEG299FID (299/280, 245/229, 184/172, 766/717, 82.0, 9, 7"). Dimensions run 11¼"–30¾" wide × 36⅜" high × 26½" deep, shipping 297–736 lb.
Return and supply are 2½" NPT with two supply and two return tappings on both sides; gas is ½" NPT on the 075/112/150 and ¾" NPT from the 187 up; electrical is 120 V AC at under 12 A, and steam ratings use a piping and pickup allowance of 1.333. The product page describes '2 1/2 inch single and dual piping risers' depending on boiler size, while the IOM near-boiler piping figures print minimum 2" risers (single for the 3/4-section sizes, (2) 2" for the 5–9-section sizes) — both official wordings are captured here. Controls include an electronic low water cut-off with a ¾" probe, pressure limit control, steam pressure gauge and glass water level gauge; a factory-tapped ½" NPT location is provided for a secondary manual-reset LWCO. Utica prints a 12-year non-prorated residential warranty plus 5-year parts, and gas, steam and venting work belongs with a licensed contractor.
