AERCO's TDS prints 800 MBH input for the 800N and 1,060 MBH for the 1060N, with certified efficiencies of 94% and 95%. Both use the same 2" NPT male water connections, 1.5" NPT male gas connection and 50 GPM maximum continuous water flow.
The 1060N's turndown is up to 21:1 versus 16:1, which suits plants with wider domestic-hot-water demand swings. It also produces up to 8 GPH of condensate against 6 GPH, so the drain plan deserves attention.
One installation trade-off: the 800N offers an optional 4" flue and air intake in addition to the standard 6", while the 1060N is 6" only. Water volume drops from 25.3 to 22.0 gallons and dry weight rises from 980 to 1,000 lb (shipping 1,080 to 1,100 lb).
