What actually separates them

Both sizes share the Logano G615 design: Buderus cast-iron sections with Thermostream return-water mixing, 248 °F maximum permissible supply temperature, 87 psi maximum operating pressure and forced-draft burner mounting. The technical table's gross-output values are printed in kW and MBH-equivalent numbers (570 to 1200).

Ratings scale: gross output 1,951 to 3,982 MBH, net AHRI water ratings 1,697 to 3,463 MBH, gas input 2,309 to 4,835 MBH and oil input 9 to 16 GPH across the eight sizes. Sections run 9 to 16.

Physical rows: net weight 5,523 to 9,143 lb and boiler water content 148.25 to 259.25 US gal. The G615 is discontinued with installation/service and operating manuals in Bosch's US commercial-discontinued archive. Note the official table's flue-gas mass-flow rows are mislabeled °F while carrying lb/s values; Boilers.ca uses only the unambiguous rows.

Frequently asked questions

What is the largest G615 size?

The G615/1200 with 16 sections, 3,982 MBH gross output, 4,835 MBH gas input and 9,143 lb net weight.

Do G615 boilers include controls?

No - they are boiler blocks with external controls (aquastat, Logamatic 4000 or BMS) and a field-supplied burner from Bosch's approved list.

Why are the G615 flue-gas rows unusual?

The official technical table labels its flue-gas mass-flow rows with °F while the values are in lb/s and kg/s. Boilers.ca treats those rows as unusable and records only the output, input, weight and water rows.
