What actually separates them

Input runs 11,000-110,000 BTU/hr on the EP-110 at 96% AFUE and 15,000-150,000 on the EP-150 at 95% AFUE per the retired page table; LP-550 Table 4 prints 100 vs 138 MBH heating capacity.

The EP-150 deepens the cabinet from 18.5 to 19.5 in and adds 13 lb (126 vs 113 lb) with 2.0 gal of water content; both keep 1" NPTF CH and 3/4" NPTF gas connections and the same 3"/4" venting allowance.

Both fire down low enough for shoulder-season modulation, so the choice is the heat-loss calculation against the EP-150's larger capacity and slightly lower printed AFUE.
