Both models print 96% AFUE on the retired Elite Premier table and LP-550 Table 4 gives each the same 14.5 x 27 x 18.5 in cabinet, 1" NPTF CH connection, 3/4" NPTF gas inlet and 3" (200 ft) / 4" (275 ft) combined venting.
Input runs 8,000-80,000 BTU/hr on the EP-80 and 11,000-110,000 on the EP-110, lifting heating capacity from 74 to 100 MBH; shipping weight moves only from 108 to 113 lb and water content from 1.4 to 1.7 gal.
Because the minimum fire rises from 8,000 to 11,000 BTU/hr, a very low-load home can modulate slightly lower on the EP-80, but the EP-110's extra 30 MBH of ceiling is the more common reason to step up.
