What actually separates them

The AWN-Sub-07 submittal lists the AWN151PM at 150,000 BTU/hr input, 96% thermal efficiency, 175 GPH recovery and a 165 lb shipping weight; the AWN286PM lists 285,000 BTU/hr, 96%, 332 GPH and 236 lb.

Connections step from 1/2" gas and 1-1/4" water on the 151 to 3/4" gas and 2" water on the 286, and the vent size rises from 3" to 4"; both use the 5:1 turndown printed for the AWN family.
