What actually separates them

The EZ98DV and EZ111DV top the EZ Series, Noritz's condensing tankless DHW line. Both are DHW-only appliances with a 12,800 BTU/h minimum fire, 0.98 UEF, indoor-or-outdoor installation and the shared 26.1 x 18.1 x 11.8 in, 60 lb cabinet.

The EZ111DV adds 19,900 BTU/h of input ceiling (199,900 against 180,000) and 1.3 GPM of maximum flow (11.1 against 9.8) — the largest EZ size and the one that covers the heaviest residential demand, including larger tank replacements where simultaneous draws are common.

Both share the same 0.4 GPM minimum flow, 100–140°F settings and 120 VAC power. Neither is a combi: where space heating is also needed, Noritz's combi is the NRCB, and the EZ covers domestic hot water only.
