Verdict in brief

The NCC199CDV and NCC300DV are Noritz's commercial tankless water heaters: the NCC199CDV fires 12,800 to 199,900 BTU/h at 0.98 UEF with 11.1 GPM in a 62 lb, indoor-or-outdoor cabinet, while the NCC300DV reaches 300,000 BTU/h with 13.2 GPM in a larger 110 lb indoor-only unit (its page prints no UEF).

What actually separates them

The NCC199CDV and NCC300DV are the two captured models in Noritz's commercial NCC Series, both DHW-only tankless water heaters for commercial domestic hot water. They share 120 VAC power and 0.4/0.5 GPM minimum flows, but differ sharply in size and capacity.

The NCC199CDV uses the residential chassis at 26.1 x 18.1 x 11.8 in and 62 lb, fires 12,800 to 199,900 BTU/h at 0.98 UEF with up to 11.1 GPM, installs indoors or outdoors and prints settings of 100–150°F plus 160°F, 170°F and 185°F steps. The NCC300DV is the larger commercial unit at 32.7 x 18.9 x 14.2 in and 110 lb, fires 15,000 to 300,000 BTU/h with up to 13.2 GPM, is indoor-only, prints 100–185°F settings and publishes no UEF value ("Energy Factor: N/A").

Neither is a boiler: the NCC line heats domestic water for commercial and multi-unit demand, and has no hydronic heating circuit. Sizing follows the facility's peak hot-water demand and fixture count.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the NCC199CDV and NCC300DV?

Capacity and size: 199,900 against 300,000 BTU/h, 11.1 against 13.2 GPM, 62 against 110 lb, and indoor-or-outdoor versus indoor-only installation. The NCC199CDV prints 0.98 UEF; the NCC300DV page prints no UEF value.

Are NCC models boilers?

No. The NCC Commercial Series is a commercial tankless water heater line for domestic hot water. Noritz's combi boiler is the NRCB.

Which NCC fits a commercial kitchen?

That depends on the facility's peak demand calculation and fixture count. The NCC300DV's higher ceiling and flow serve larger loads; a licensed contractor should verify the sizing against the installation manual.

Not sure which one fits your home?

A consultation includes a heat-loss review so the size is right the first time.
