What actually separates them

These are the top two rows of the Futera III ratings table: 1,750 MBH input / 1,491 MBH output for the MB/MW 1750 and 2,000 MBH / 1,704 MBH for the MB/MW 2000. Depth and width are identical; only the height changes, from 64-1/2" to 69" (the source prints 1938 mm for the 1750 height row).

All connections and venting options are shared — 1-1/2" gas, 2-1/2" water, 12" air intake and Category I 12" / Category II 10" / Category IV 10" flues — so near-boiler piping and vent design carry over between the two.

Shipping weight is the practical difference on site: 928 lb for the 1750 against 1,100 lb for the 2000. Both remain 85.6% AHRI Boiler Efficiency with 4:1 turndown on HEATNET 3.0.
