The G234X is a low-temperature atmospheric gas boiler with a cast-iron heat exchanger, designed for heating central heating water and indirectly providing domestic hot water in residential or apartment buildings. Four sizes are documented: 38/5 (160 MBTU/hr ignition heat load, 130 nominal output), 45/5 (187 / 154), 55/6 (228 / 188) and 64/7 (266 / 219), with dry weights of 487, 487, 562 and 684 lb and water contents of 6.1, 6.1, 7.1 and 8.2 US gallons. The series brochure prints AFUE 84.3%, 84.1%, 84.8% and 84.3%.
The G234X appears on Bosch's US 'Discontinued Boilers' product page and in the discontinued Buderus products documentation library, with installation/service, user and gas-conversion documents.
