The Aruba 6 is the current Crown (Velocity Boiler Works) cast-iron gas hot water line, listed on the 2026 residential gas menu as 'Aruba 6 (AWR)'. The product page introduces it as building on the Aruba 5 with the same flexibility: eight sizes from 38 to 280 MBH input at 84% AFUE, an integrated boiler control located inside the jacket with temperature control, relay and ignition functions in a single module plus an integral LWCO, a built-in rear draft diverter, an additional circulator output for a second zone or an indirect water heater, and natural or LP gas with published fuel conversion kits.
Two installation changes are called out on the page: standard piping is now on the left side (the boiler is field convertible to right-side piping), and the standard build is approved for 5,400 ft altitude with conversion kits for installations above that — while the two-section AWR038C is not to be installed above 2,000 ft. Aruba 6 is the successor Boilers.ca documents against the legacy Aruba 4 (AWR038E–AWR280E, discontinued) — and the intermediate Aruba 5 which the Aruba 5.1 IOM (9807815-Rev-E, 1/24) still covers on the legacy site.
