About the Accel CS

The Accel CS is Energy Kinetics' condensing boiler, published on the official site as a system that produces both heat and hot water, with copy describing a vessel containing over 70 pounds of American-made 316L stainless steel, 37 specially formulated stainless-steel super turbulators, wide-open water and flue passages, a fold-down door for access, an AL294C stainless-steel condensate collector and flue, Sealix non-stick coated plate heat exchangers for hard-water performance, and the Condensing Energy Manager control that combines Hybrid Energy Recovery, SmartBoost and low-temperature reset operation. The brochure states the EK1C-90 and EK1C-120 models meet ENERGY STAR guidelines.

The residential brochure's ratings table prints the four documented models: EK1C-90 (90 MBH input, 96.6% AFUE, 84 MBH capacity, 155 gal/hr hot-water first-hour rating), EK1C-120 (120 MBH, 96.4%, 111 MBH, 195 gal/hr), EK2C-150 (150 MBH, 96.8%, 141 MBH, 245 gal/hr) and EK2C-200 (200 MBH, 96.7%, 185 MBH, 320 gal/hr). The brochure's footnote states the domestic-hot-water rating is based on a first-hour draw at a 67°F rise and a 3 GPM draw on a 40-gallon tank, with draws over 195 gallons calculated on continuous draw at maximum flow. The brochure also lists multiple venting options (sidewall direct vent, through-the-roof and chimney) and natural-gas-or-propane operation with easy conversion.

Boilers.ca documents the four printed models at model level from the brochure and links the published Accel warranty. No official Canadian-sales statement was found, so canadianStatus stays 'unknown'.
