Fulton VANTAGE VTG-6000 in practice

The VTG-6000 is the 6 MMBTU/hr size of Fulton's VANTAGE condensing firetube line. The Standard Technical Data Sheet (VTG_TDS_241118) prints 6,000,000 BTU/hr rated input, 5,640,000 BTU/hr rated output at 94% thermal efficiency and 168 boiler horsepower, with 6" ANSI 150# FLG water connections, a 2-1/2" NPT gas connection, a 12 in combustion air intake and a 14 in flue vent.

The VANTAGE is built on a high-mass duplex-stainless vessel; the Standard TDS prints a typical flow of 564 gpm at a 20°F rise and no minimum flow requirement, and the page carries a lifetime thermal-shock warranty. Dual-fuel VTG-DF variants at the same sizes add #2 oil back-up and are documented in the separate VTG-DF Technical Data Sheet (250909).

Best suited to

  • Commercial hydronic loads near 6,000,000 BTU/hr input
  • Plants wanting a high-mass firetube with no minimum flow requirement
  • Buildings planning a future #2 oil back-up conversion (VTG-DF variants)
