IBC IFIRE-B 300 in practice
The IFIRE-B 300 is the 300 MBH size of IBC's IFIRE-B condensing commercial boiler line. The SPECIFICATION – IFIRE B table on IBC's official IFIRE spec page lists 42.8-300 MBH CSA input on natural gas or propane, 41.3-289 MBH CSA output and 96.5% thermal efficiency, with a minimum gas supply pressure of 4" w.c. natural gas / 8" w.c. LP and a maximum of 10.5" / 13" w.c., and a 150°F maximum ambient temperature.
The IFIRE-B is the boiler branch of IBC's IFIRE platform — the IFIRE itself is a volume water heater — and it uses a stainless-steel water-tube heat exchanger with the VERSA IC 4.3" color touchscreen controller, fault history and full diagnostics, three pump control (DHW, system and boiler) and a Modbus RTU BMS port. It is direct-vent capable with PVC, CPVC, polypropylene or stainless-steel venting up to 100 ft, rated for indoor/outdoor construction with zero side clearance to combustibles, and carries the IFIRE platform's SCAQMD-certified ultra-low-NOx rating (less than 20 ppm) with a 7:1 turndown.
