Navien Canada lists the NCB-E among its discontinued products, alongside the earlier NCB (180/210/240), NFC and NFB series, and recommends the current H-series line for new purchases.
Every NCB-E model still has a live official product page on both navieninc.ca and navieninc.com, and the Canadian /products/<model> URLs resolve to the same model "downloads" pages as the US links. Each page lists the NCB-E QuickFacts, I&O Manual, User Information Manual, Service Manual, technical data sheet (including a "USA & Canada" TDS), Gas Conversion Guide, Quick Installation Guide and the model's AHRI certificate, in en/fr/es items.
Error-code diagnosis is where the generation matters: codes such as E205, E218, E407, E421, E439, E517, E740, E777 and E782 appear in both the NCB-E and newer H-series tables, but other numerals were added or removed between generations, and the same code can carry a different meaning. The NCB-E installation manual carries no error table, so the reference for owners is the NCB-E service manual, Ver 1.4 (Oct 2015), which Navien still hosts publicly.
