About the T-M50 Commercial Series

The T-M50 is Takagi's heavy-duty commercial tankless water heater, described on the official specification sheet as fully modulating, gas-fired and power-vented, for heavy-duty commercial applications. The sheet prints four model rows — T-M50-N, T-M50-P, T-M50-ASME-N and T-M50-ASME-P — all firing 15,000 to 380,000 BTU/h with thermal efficiency of 80% on natural gas and 82% on propane and a maximum flow of 14.5 GPM at 15–150 PSI water pressure.

All four rows share dimensions of 25-1/4" H × 24-7/8" W × 12-3/4" D, a 113 lb approximate shipping weight, a 5" O.D. Category III flue and 5" combustion-air intake, 1" NPT water/gas connections and 120 V/1.48 A power. The sheet lists Easy-Link capability up to 4 units, Multi-Link up to 10 units with the TM-MC01 controller, optional direct-vent conversion and the same accessory family as the T-M32, plus a 6-year limited heat-exchanger warranty in commercial applications and 5-year parts.

The T-M50 is a water heater, not a boiler: the sheet states it can supply domestic hot water systems (directly or indirectly) and be used with storage tanks, recirculation systems, and/or combined domestic & heating applications, but the appliance type is a tankless water heater and Takagi's catalogue contains no boiler line. The T-M50-N and T-M50-P product pages are live on takagi.com; the ASME-coded pages return 404, so only the two standard models are documented. Canadian availability is recorded as unknown.
