Utica Boilers MAC/MAH (AI condensing)

The MAC/MAH family is Utica's wall-hung 'AI' condensing platform — combis MAC-115/150/205 and central-heating models MAH-75/100/125/165 (there is no MAH-205) — on 316L stainless steel heat exchangers at 95% AFUE. Both official pages print a '(While supplies last)' badge with an empty 'Current Documents' tab, so Boilers.ca records the line as discontinued (sell-through).

95% AFUE as printed for the family (MAC page: '95% AFUE, ENERGY STAR certified'; MAH page: 'up to 95% AFUE'); the official sell sheet prints 92% for the MAH-75, as recorded in the utica2 research.

About the MAC/MAH (AI condensing)

The MAC (combi) and MAH (central-heating) wall-hung boilers are Utica's version of the ECR International 'AI' condensing platform (the same line Dunkirk sells as DCC/DCB with the shared manual print PN 240013687). As printed on the official pages checked on September 9, 2026: MAC combi models come in MAC-115, MAC-150 and MAC-205 sizes while the MAH central-heating models are MAH-75, MAH-100, MAH-125 and MAH-165 — the MAH line tops out at 165 MBH, so no MAH-205 exists. The floor-standing MACF/MAHF versions repeat the same ratings on their own pages.

Status as printed: the MAC page and the MAH page each print '(While supplies last)' under the product title and show 'Sorry, There are no current documents for this product!' with all documents — including the Rev. A boiler manuals and the sell sheets — moved under 'Archived Documents'. Boilers.ca therefore records the family as discontinued (sell-through) and documents the model codes so owners and contractors can identify an installed unit and pull the archived literature.

Family figures as printed in the utica2 research headline: 95% AFUE (92% on the MAH-75 per the archived sell sheet), AI auto-commissioning control with continuous calibration, 316L stainless steel heat exchanger and burner with a stainless steel brazed-plate DHW heat exchanger on the combis, CH max/min of 93.5/16.6 MBH (MAC-115) up to 164/29.5 MBH (MAC-205/MAH-165), DHW to 205 MBH, wall dimensions of 30" H x 17-3/4" W with 13-9/16" or 21-1/2" depth (165/205 class), 94-125 lb, and coaxial polypropylene 4"/2" or 5"/3" or 2-pipe 2"/3" polypropylene/CPVC/PVC venting. Gas work belongs with a licensed contractor against the archived manual set.

Frequently asked questions

Is Utica's MAC/MAH line still being sold?

Both official pages print '(While supplies last)' with an empty 'Current Documents' tab, which Boilers.ca records as discontinued (sell-through). The floor-standing MACF/MAHF versions carry the same badge on their own pages.

Does the MAH line include a 205 MBH model?

No — as printed on the official pages, the MAH central-heating models are MAH-75, MAH-100, MAH-125 and MAH-165 only. The 205 MBH-class boiler is the MAC-205 combi.

Is MAC/MAH the same boiler as Dunkirk's DCC/DCB?

Yes — both brands of ECR International sell the same AI wall-hung condensing platform and share the Rev. A boiler manual print PN 240013687 (MGC-2209-REV-A). The Utica MAC/MAH codes mirror Dunkirk's DCC/DCB models at the same ratings.

Are MAC/MAH boilers available in Canada?

Unknown from official pages: uticaboilers.com publishes US-market catalogues and the MAC/MAH pages state no Canadian listing; Utica's fr-CA distributor page names Morden National for Canadian distributor enquiries, but no series-specific Canadian rating was verified, so canadianStatus stays 'unknown'.
