Utica Boilers Oneida (CO/CH)

The Oneida Series is Utica's current residential combi/condensing line: the CO (Combi) models — CO-90/150/200, producing domestic hot water up to 5.1 GPM — and the CH (Central Heat) heating-only models CH-80 through CH-180, all wall-hung on a stainless steel water-tube heat exchanger at 95.2% AFUE with up to 10:1 turndown. The commercial CH-299/399/499 sizes (95.1–95.6% as printed) are documented by Utica but not modelled here.

About the Oneida (CO/CH)

The Oneida Series is the current condensing line on Utica's official pages, in two residential flavours sharing one platform: the CO (Combi) models — three sizes from 80,000 to 200,000 BTU/hr input — produce domestic hot water up to 5.1 GPM alongside central heating, while the CH (Central Heat) models are five heating-only sizes from 80,000 to 180,000 BTU/hr input. Boilers.ca models the residential codes as printed on the official brochure table: CO-90/150/200 with combi:true and CH-80/100/120/150/180 as heating-only central-heat units, all at 95.2% AFUE with up to 10:1 turndown on the next-generation enhanced stainless steel water-tube heat exchanger.

Every residential size is wall-hung in the shared 28.2 x 17.4 x 16.9 in cabinet at 74–101 lb, vented as a Category IV direct-vent twin-pipe appliance with the included 3-in-1 adjustable vent connector (PVC, CPVC, polypropylene or stainless steel; flue 3" with a 2" reducer), with 3/4" NPT CH connections (1/2" NPT DHW on the combis), 3/4" NPT gas, cascade control to 16 boilers and a control display settable to 18 languages. Utica prices the residential line with a 10-year heat exchanger and 5-year parts limited warranty.

The commercial CH-299/399/499 sizes that Utica documents on a separate page — printed at 95.1% AFUE (ENERGY STAR), 95.5% and 95.6% thermal — are heavier floor-hung units with 1-1/2" NPT connections and 4"–6" flues, outside this residential series record. Boilers.ca records the Oneida series canadianStatus as 'unknown': the ratings on this record are the US-market figures Utica prints, and no official Canadian (NRCan/CSA) rating listing was verified on the pages checked on September 8, 2026, even though Utica's fr-CA page names a Canadian distributor contact. Gas work belongs with a licensed contractor against the residential IOM (E93.1907.035.915.C).

Frequently asked questions

What do CO and CH mean in the Oneida model codes?

CO is Utica's Combi line (domestic hot water plus central heating in one appliance) and CH is the Central Heat line — heating-only models that leave domestic hot water to a separate tank or water heater. The CO-90/150/200 and CH-80 through CH-180 codes are printed that way in the official brochure table.

What efficiency does the Oneida series print?

95.2% AFUE for every residential model in the official brochure table, with the product pages rating the series 'up to 95.2% AFUE' with up to 10:1 turndown. Utica's commercial CH sizes print differently (95.1% AFUE on the CH-299, thermal figures on the CH-399/499).

Is the Oneida series available in Canada?

Utica's French-Canadian distributor page names Morden National ((519) 627-0791) as the Canadian distributor contact, but the Oneida ratings on this record are the US-market figures Utica prints and no official Canadian rating listing was verified, so Boilers.ca records canadianStatus 'unknown'.

Which manual covers the Oneida series?

The Oneida Series Residential Boiler Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Rev. C (doc E93.1907.035.915.C), linked on the official CO and CH product pages and on the model records here. Utica's commercial CH sizes use the separate commercial IOM (E93.1608.035.915.B).
