What actually separates them

Both sizes are documented in the G124X II/SP installation and maintenance manual and the G124X/G234X/G334X brochure. They share the atmospheric cast-iron design with a draft hood, 1" boiler supply and return, 1/2" gas connection, and the option of a vent damper.

The rating rows scale: 74,000 BTU/hr input, 61,400 DOE heating capacity and 53,000 net IBR on the /18 against 132,500 BTU/hr, 110,000 and 96,000 on the /32. AFUE is 84.3% and 84.6% respectively; the /25 between them prints 84.2%.

Physical differences: 229 lb dry / 2.4 gal water / 5" vent on the /18; 337 lb / 3.4 gal / 6" vent on the /32. Both are absent from Bosch's current Canadian catalog but their manuals remain in the Canadian technical-documentation library, including propane conversion and high-altitude instructions.
