What actually separates them

Both combis carry the line's wall cabinet (19.75 x 38.25 x 17 in) with the vertical fire-tube heat exchanger, 10:1 turndown, ECM pump and DHW priority. The EFTU-110WCN ships at 110 lb (107 lb full, 1.5 gal water content); the EFTU-150WCN ships at 121 lb (128.5 lb full, 2.1 gal water content).

The official table prints DHW flow of 5.8 / 4.5 / 2.6 GPM on the 110 combi and 7.9 / 6.1 / 3.6 GPM on the 150 at 35 / 45 / 77 °F rises, with DHW input equal to the CH input range on each. DOE heating capacity rises from 101 to 138 MBH and the net AHRI water rating from 88 to 120 MBH.

Both vent in 2" or 3" pipe (exhaust 6–100 ft in 2" or 6–150 ft in 3"; intake 0–100 ft or 0–150 ft) — the 3"-only rule starts at the 199 sizes. Neither model's 15,000 BTU/hr-class minimum fire (11,000 on the 110) is a practical low-fire differentiator, so the choice turns on the heat-loss calculation and the household's simultaneous hot-water draws.
