What actually separates them

Both models are floor-standing, heat-only condensing boilers at 95% AFUE with an 8:1 turndown and a stainless steel fire-tube heat exchanger. The 110 fires 13,750 to 110,000 BTU/h (102 MBH DOE capacity, 89 MBH AHRI net); the 155 fires 19,375 to 155,000 BTU/h (142 MBH DOE, 123 MBH AHRI).

The floor platform's distinguishing equipment is shared: a Caleffi 548 series separator with air elimination and a pre-installed internal circulator, with water and gas connections available on either side. Both list an integrated cascade function for up to six boilers and the same venting options — 2-inch up to 33 equivalent feet or 3-inch up to 100 feet.

The differences are capacity and weight: the 155 is 157 lb with 3 gallons of water volume against 145 lb and 2 gallons for the 110, in the same 22 x 41 x 22 inch cabinet. As heat-only models, both need a separate domestic hot water source; the choice follows the room-by-room heat-loss calculation.
