Ideal Exalt Floor 110

The Exalt Floor 110 takes the residential Exalt platform off the wall. Input runs 13,750 to 110,000 BTU/h at 95% AFUE with an 8:1 turndown, a 102 MBH DOE heating capacity and an 89 MBH AHRI net rating. The floor chassis adds equipment the wall models do not include: a Caleffi 548 series separator with air elimination and a pre-installed internal circulator, with water and gas connections available on either side.

The cabinet measures 22 x 41 x 22 inches and weighs 145 lb with 2 gallons of water volume; the separator outlet is 1-1/4-inch FPT when the Caleffi 548 is used. Venting is 2-inch up to 33 equivalent feet or 3-inch up to 100 feet through the 3-in-1 universal vent adapter, and the model supports an integrated cascade of up to six boilers. It is a heat-only model — domestic hot water comes from a separate source.

The CTRLMax control provides plain-text diagnostics, outdoor reset, DHW priority and configurable circulator outputs. The floor-standing format suits retrofits with mechanical-room floor space and systems that benefit from a factory-mounted separator and pump. Natural-gas (IDEXFS110S) and propane (IDEXFS110SLP) versions are published.
