Comparison

Lochinvar Noble NCF110 vs NCF150

Verdict in brief

The Noble NCF110 and NCF150 are the two smaller floor-standing Noble combis and mirror the wall NKC step: the 150 fires 15 to 150 MBH with 139 MBH of DOE capacity against the 110's 102, and its 2" vent allowance drops from 100 to 60 equivalent feet while connections stay 1" NPT and 3/4" DHW.

What actually separates them

Both NCF models are floor-standing Noble combis producing domestic hot water on demand through 3/4" DHW connections, with 1" NPT space-heating connections, a 1/2" gas connection and 95.0% AFUE — the floor counterparts of the NKC110 and NKC150 ratings.

The NCF110 page quotes DHW of up to 2.6 GPM at a 77°F rise, and the NCF150's spec format does not print a DHW flow, so the step between them is best read as heating capacity: DOE output rises from 102 to 139 MBH.

Venting follows the wall combis: the 110 allows 2" pipe to 100 equivalent feet and the 150 only to 60, with 3" at 100 feet on both. Water content grows from 1.4 to 2.0 gallons on the larger model.

Frequently asked questions

How does the NCF150 differ from the NCF110?

Input rises from 11-110 MBH to 15-150 MBH, DOE capacity from 102 to 139 MBH and water content from 1.4 to 2.0 gallons; the 2" vent allowance shortens from 100 to 60 equivalent feet.

Are the NCF combis the same as the NKC combis?

In ratings and connections, yes — the NCF models are the floor-standing versions of the wall-mounted NKC combis, sharing the Noble ratings rows in the I&O manual.
