Both boilers share the TFTN wall platform — full-colour touchscreen, built-in Wi-Fi and low-water cut-off — in an identical cabinet: 19 7/8 inches wide, 34 1/8 inches high and 17 1/4 inches deep, at 107 lb with water, with 1 1/4" NPT CH connections and 3/4" NPT gas.
The published differences are efficiency and range. NTI rates the TFTN085 at 96% AFUE with 8.5 to 85 MBH input, and the TFTN110 at 95% with 11 to 110 MBH. The 085's lower minimum fire and higher rating suit well-insulated low-load homes; the 110 trades one efficiency point for 25 MBH of ceiling.
Both are heating-only — domestic hot water needs an indirect tank or separate water heater — and both vent in 2" pipe to 100 ft or 3" to 150 ft per side. With the cabinet, weight and venting identical, the choice is purely the calculated load: under 85 MBH the 96% 085 wins, and beyond it the 110 earns its place.
