NTI Trinity TFTN085 in practice
The TFTN085 opens NTI's flagship wall-hung line at 8.5 to 85 MBH input, with the 96% AFUE rating that NTI's table reserves for this model alone. Like every TFTN it carries the full-colour touchscreen control, built-in Wi-Fi, low-water cut-off and zone-control provisions of the family, and it is heating-only: domestic hot water comes from an indirect tank or separate water heater.
At 107 lb with water, 19 7/8 by 34 1/8 by 17 1/4 inches, it is a compact unit for a compact building, and its 8.5 MBH minimum fire is low enough for well-insulated Lower Mainland homes to condense steadily through mild weather. The 2" venting route to 100 ft (3" to 150 ft) is also the most retrofit-friendly arrangement in the TFTN wall family.
