The two middle CI2 models share everything except the firing range: both weigh 963 lb (437 kg), hold 50 USG of boiler water content per the technical data manual and use the 6-inch flue and combustion-air collars of the middle chassis.
Input is where they part ways. The 750 fires 75,000 to 750,000 BTU (22.0 to 220 kW); the 1000 fires from a higher 100,000 BTU (29.3 kW) minimum up to 1,000,000 BTU (293 kW) maximum — the extra 250 MBH of ceiling at the cost of a 25,000 BTU higher floor.
