Bosch Singular 5200 in practice
The Singular 5200 is the flagship of Bosch's current wall-hung combi line — the 199K BTU model of the CA product page, whose DHW side fires 19,900 to 199,000 BTU/hr while space heating runs 19,900 to 140,000 BTU/hr input. That minimum-to-maximum spread on the DHW side is the basis of the 'turndown ratio up to 10:1' claim in the condensing-boilers category copy.
The IOM specification table prints 7.7 GPM at a 45 °F rise (5.2 GPM at 67 °F) and 95.0% AFUE on both fuels, with stainless steel primary and secondary heat exchangers. Bosch's CA copy says the 5200 can run three showers plus a dishwasher, depending on inlet water temperature — the kind of claim to weigh against a household's actual simultaneous-draw pattern.
The 5200 shares the 18.1 x 27.6 x 11.6 in cabinet, 80 lb stated weight and 60 ft/150 ft venting limits of the 4000, and its control shows the same A2-through-EF code set of IOM Table 30. Bosch's published Singular warranty covers the heat exchanger for ten years with five-year component coverage and first-year labour.
