Bryan BFIT 400 in practice
Bryan's BFIT 400 submittal prints 40,000 BTU/hr low fire, 399,000 BTU/hr high fire and 387,000 BTU/hr high-fire output at 12 BHP, with 97% thermal/combustion efficiency, 34.8 sq ft of heating surface, 3.8 gallons of water volume and a recovery rate of 474 GPH at a 100°F temperature rise.
The unit fires Natural Gas or LP with full modulation and 10:1 burner turndown at <10 ppm NOx. The dimensions table prints 38 1/2" high × 25 5/8" wide × 36 1/2" long with 2" FNPT water outlet, 2" MNPT water inlet, 4" vent and air intake, 3/4" gas inlet and a 460 lb approximate shipping weight; electrical is 120 VAC single phase at 7 A maximum draw.
The BFIT pressure vessel is ASME Section IV certified with an 'H' stamp at 160 PSIG and 210°F maximum, backed by a ten-year limited pressure vessel warranty, and controlled by the Concert control with EMS communications. Bryan publishes the BFIT/W combined literature, I&O manuals, parts manual and Concert control manual as public downloads. No official Canadian-sales statement was found.
