The archived official ClearFire-C page describes the line as a vertical down-fired, stainless steel, fully condensing boiler available in seven sizes, with AluFer tubes and fireside extended heating surface. The page states up to 99% efficiency at low fire and 97% at high fire with 80°F return water temperature, a linkageless premix burner with up to 5:1 turndown, and a dual temperature return that allows condensing performance even with standard 180/160°F design systems.
Official drawing CB-8278 (Model CFC Boilers 500-3300 MBTU, Dimensions and Ratings, 1-2012) prints the seven sizes — 500, 750, 1,000, 1,500, 1,800, 2,500 and 3,300 — with inputs of 500,000 to 3,300,000 BTU/hr, outputs at 104/86°F and 176/140°F, boiler horsepower, 125 psi MAWP, water content, weights, connection sizes and electrical data. The page lists a Falcon total boiler control with lead-lag capability up to eight boilers, fresh-air inlet for sealed combustion, low hydraulic resistance and cULus listing for natural gas and propane.
The ClearFire-C page is no longer part of Cleaver-Brooks' current condensing-hydronic catalogue, which lists the ClearFire-CE and SwitchFire; productStatus is recorded as unknown because the captured official material does not state discontinuation. The Model CFC should not be confused with the current ClearFire-CE (CFC-E), which is a separate generation documented on its own hub.
