The Model CFW O&M manual (750-296, 06/2010) describes the ClearFire-W as a compact vertically fired firetube boiler with AluFer extended-surface tubes in a single-pass design, designed to fire natural gas, with a nominal fuel-to-water efficiency of up to 88% depending on operating conditions. It is built to a 125 psig MAWP under the ASME low-pressure Section IV hot water code and operates below 112 psig.
The manual prints seven sizes — CFW 400, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 2400 — with water capacities from 43 to 244 gal (Table 4-1) and minimum gas pressures of 7 to 10 in w.c. against a 28 in w.c. maximum (Table 2-3). The line uses the CB Falcon hydronic boiler control with a touchscreen and Modbus communication.
