IBC SFT-1 F013 — DHW inlet temperature sensor open/short
F013
The domestic hot-water inlet temperature sensor reads as open or shorted. The controller uses that sensor to manage hot-water output temperature.

Why a code is not a diagnosis
The sensor or its wiring may be faulty; a resistance check at the sensor and at the control module isolates which.

- Note the code; hot-water temperature control may misbehave or the unit may not fire for DHW.

- Do not open the appliance to test the sensor yourself.
