IBC SFT-1 F015 — High cabinet temperature
F015
The controller measured the temperature inside the appliance cabinet above its limit. The manual's checks point to flue gas leaking from the heat exchanger or the vent pipe into the cabinet.
If a carbon-monoxide alarm sounds
- Leave the building immediately and get fresh air.
- Call 911. Do not go back inside until emergency services say it is safe.
- Have every fuel-burning appliance inspected before use.

Why a code is not a diagnosis
A hot cabinet can also come from poor ventilation around the appliance, but the manual directs a technician to check the heat exchanger and vent pipe for flue gas leakage first — a CO risk if present.

- If a carbon-monoxide alarm sounds, leave the building and call 911 from outside.
- If the appliance smells hot or of exhaust, turn it off at its service switch and call a licensed technician.
