Before today's WHB and KHB models, Lochinvar sold the Knight fire tube as the wall-hung WH and floor-standing KH generations. The current product pages keep their manuals in an archive section: "Knight Fire Tube Boiler Wall Mount — WH 56-400 — I&O Manual" and "Knight Fire Tube Boiler — Floor Mount — KH 55-285 — I&O Manual," alongside archived parts sheets and service manuals for the WH 56-400 and KH 55-285 ranges.
Both legacy installation manuals remain publicly hosted by Lochinvar — the WH wall-mount I&O at Rev Y and the KH floor I&O at Rev J — which is what an owner of an older Knight needs to identify the unit and its controls. Owners should confirm the generation from the rating plate before using any manual, because the current WHB/KHB literature does not document the WH and KH generations.
