Stack limit. Possible causes: dirty heat exchanger (inspect and if required clean combustion chamber and/or heat exchanger per Section 14.0); incorrect Stack limit setpoint (unless installed in Canada with PVC exhaust venting, set Stack limit setpoint to maximum 220°F/104°C — in Canada PVC exhaust venting is limited to 149°F/65°C). The table classifies it as Lockout.
If a carbon-monoxide alarm sounds
- Leave the building immediately and get fresh air.
- Call 911. Do not go back inside until emergency services say it is safe.
- Have every fuel-burning appliance inspected before use.
